Button presses don't register to show buttons that are already bound.

Joystick button presses take a long time to be registered in the binding menu.

Yea, I saw that, but thought I couldn't proof it without a video.

Additionally; somehow, when I hit keyboard keys, the view of aircraft changes itself in background...

I have the same problem with the joystick key not being recognised most of the time without activating the button multiple times. Sometimes it recognises the button the first time but mostly not.

To solve this I change the plane for what I am modifying controls to a different one, press a button (it works) then revert to the first one that also works again. Sure something is a bit buggy.

Can confirm. Have this issue too. Not every time, strangely. But it seems like it's very often.

It never does this if you edit controls straight from the main menu. But if you access controls from in-game, this happens frequently.

I can confirm this, exactly the same happened to me, sorting out my A10C keybinds yesterday and my views went haywire.

I wasnt even altering any view keys

Since this sluggishness/unresponsiveness doesn't happen (at least for me) when accessing the controls from the main menu (sim not running), my best guess is that this bug occurs because the simulation doesn't stop listening to input even though you're in the controls dialog and that messes things up.

Pitch Axis

Hey guys,

I seem to have run into a hiccup. I loaded up DCS this evening, and even though i was just playing this morning, I found that my pitch axis is laggy. I re-calibrated my stick (3D Extreme Pro), i reset the curves in game, and made sure my stick worked fine in other sims. The issue seems to be that when i pull back on the stick it only registers for about a second before automatically returning to neutral in game while IRL i have the stick cracked all the way back. If I jiggle the stick it keeps it there in game, but of course this gives me a terribly bumpy flight path, and as soon as I stop moving the stick, the pitch axis in game will center. I'm not sure if it's an issue on my end, or a bug.

Edit: Also, just took a look at the stick in game, and left and right are fine, as well as the rudder peddles, but when the stick is moving back and forth for pitch it's glitching out like crazy. Also for the record I'm flying the Mustang.

RESOLVED: Had a separate controller plugged in that isn't normally. Should have known. Rookie mistake.

I too have had this issue - It doesn't happen when I go to the options screen when first starting DCS, but if I try to map controls whilst in game (i.e. sitting in the cockpit) the interface becomes laggy (extremely laggy).

Might be related. When I mouse-click on the command category drop down (All, axis, etc) I find that the first click doesn't always register and I have to click again.

I've noticed the search controls interface is extremely laggy. It's super useful, but it gets so behind that it misses keyboard input. I wind up having to type each letter spaced out by like a couple of seconds.
