First post, so I'm sorry if I've put this in the wrong section. I don't know if it should go in the 109 section or in the 1.5 section since this has only happened since 1.5.

So as the title says, I can't fly the 109. In single player the instant action and fast missions don't work--whenever I start them the AI is controlling them and I can't do anything, even though in the debrief it says that I took control. In multiplayer I can't select the 109, just the 190 and P-51. This is with the Steam version.

Sounds a bit like the module was not installed/activated correctly.

The module manager is accessed via the button on the top left of the 1.5 GUI. If you have logged in using the same ID as you used when you purchased the module, just press the install button, and it'll do the rest.

The GUI where there's the menu that says "Instant Action, Create Fast Mission, Mission, Campaign, Multiplayer, etc."? If that is the menu you're talking about, I don't see a button. Sorry if it's really obvious.

No at the top of the screen

Is it okay if it doesn't say DCS.openbeta? It just says DCS.

yes I believe as you have opted into the beta on steam it treats it like a main install anyway, apologies for the confusion :)

from your log

00004.654 ERROR WorldPlugIns: Can't load plugin module Bf109K4.dll :%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

the module needs to be redone from the looks of it

right click dcs in steam, go to view downloadable content and the DLC tab, un-tick the 109, steam will remove the module, then once complete tick it again and allow steam to re download it.

let us know if that helps

That didn't work, unfortunately.

Have you submitted a ticket? I hesitate to recommend a full 100% reinstall.

You can also try unloading your keys from steam and installing the standalone version, and then enabling your keys there.

It is the other way around, you can use the stand alone if you wish

steam FAQ's http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113587

I would try un-installing your steam version, make sure your saved games folder, and steam folder containing any DCS is removed and do a fresh install.

If that fails, go for the stand alone install. If you go for the stand alone, remember that it uses the module manager and that is where you will manage your installed aircraft / modules
