Guest IguanaKing Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Public Service message "...and...20,000 volts....can KILL you!" Cool vid, Hitman. DivePlane, there are lots of R/C airfields that have power lines well within radio range...the guy f'd up, but its not often a choice as to whether or not there are power lines nearby. I'm definitely going to Chatfield again this summer. There's a guy who flies out there with a T-33 model. Yeah...its actually got TWO of those micro jets in it, so he must have money to burn (What are those? $2500 per engine?). Mix in some of my AF homeys, along with a "simulated campfire" and a bottle of Goldschlager and BSin' around that "campfire"...now THAT's a good time. BTW...Goldschlager works great for mosquito bites...two shots, and you don't feel the mosquito bites. :D

My local club has a couple of jets,..personaly I prefer props and helis...damn jets, you only get a few seconds before you have to turn back to yourself..too bloody fast..them full power climbs do look good tho edit.. we have pylons running parelell to our runway about 200 metres to the side, we all fly a defined pattern and approach..most of the time, anyway..hehe oo err...missus:animals_bunny: ** Anti-Pastie**
Guest IguanaKing Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Doh...good catch, Crusty. No, it wasn't a T-33 or T-38...it was a model of an A-37. Heh...I guess our mosquito bite remedy has certain "side-effects" the next morning. :holiday:
