Pilotasso Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 The angles and the Zoom efect may play some tricks on you. .

Frazer Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Sup Jou, very nice pics, you can see you've done that before  I was also there, with my Canon 30D and a borrowed Sigma 170-500mm lens. It was the first time I photographed an airshow and I learned alot. Didn't get shots as good as yours but thats a lag of experience I guess. I missed alot of crossings and got unsharp pictures. I noticed that while shooting so I had to increase the ISO so that i could use faster shutter speeds but what i didn't notice on my screen that you see noice very rapidly if you shoot blue skies...... (used ISO between 250 and 400) What i'm curious about is what kind of camera and lens you used. Silent Warrior Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 ... Why the devil do they bring such an ugly bastard as the C-130 to an airshow? (AWESOME pics, btw!)
Force_Feedback Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Anyone knows what pylon the 3rd one from the right is? (the one with an aim-9m hanging under it, so not teh wing mounted pylon, but the second one) http://www.thomas-krell.de/Leeuwarden/200606Leeu_03.JPG Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Cobra360 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 It's a standard TER that has a missile on it for some reason. I saw that on a Spanish EF-18 before aswell, a TER with a missile in that same position.
Dutch60 Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 :megalol: Hi Frazer, Very funny storyline in your cool photos. :megalol: :megalol:  i9 13900KS (H150i), RTX 4090, 64 GB RAM @ 6000 MHz CL30, TM Warthog HOTAS + MFD's, MFG Crosswind, LG 48GQ900, Valve Index VR, TrackIR 5, Win11 Pro x64

I saw that on a Spanish EF-18 before aswell, a TER with a missile in that same position. But why not using the same pylon extension as the one to the right of it (with the captive AIM-9N under it) Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
