Shadoware Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) After I play A-10C I was willing to play F-15 with a complete functional cockpit like A-10c. I think this would be a great release. I'd prefer a F-15E model but any version would be great! Inclusion of a step by step real time tutorial with increasingly difficult or increasingly cockpit functionality would be awesome! I think this topic should be in a "aircraft wishlist" but I cant post anywhere else, not working... Edited November 28, 2015 by Shadoware
DerekSpeare Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 All of the planes would benefit from having a clickable cockpit. Any VR user knows this to be true, and non-VR users would benefit from it as well. chromium Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 "We are considering the possibility of creating a complete avionics model with clickable cockpit and accurate systems modeling. This would be a major development however, so a final decision has not yet been made." http://www.belsimtek.com/news/index.php?PAGEN_1=3 Nothing has been written about this yet, a lot of people hope in a future of a possible ASM F-15C module. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
Sweep Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Yeah, I think a fully functioning Eagle would be great, I'd like to see a C and an E, but the C is more important for me. Or maybe something like a D, now THAT would be really cool...teaching someone how to fight in the jet and whatnot. Lord of Salt
26-J39 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I do believe ED has been toying the development of a ASM F-15C.. There were some posts regarding this a LONG time ago. I would say it's well and truely on the back burner as F/A-18C would be the priority but I do think it's not as far away as most think.

As far I understand, it's realistic to think that the possible upgrade to ASM would be up to Belsimtek. It could be that the will use F-5E as a test-field? can't say.
