Request: Force Feedback checkbox for each individual aircraft

Posted (edited)

I have both a Sidewinder FFB2 for helicopters, as well as the Warthog for fixed wing (and the Ka-50), and currently the way force feedback is modeled (global setting), I can trim with FFB but cannot trim with the Warthog (FFB checked), or I can trim with the Warthog (FFB unchecked) and need to use an external utility (SimFFB) to trim the SWFFB2.

I would ideally like a per-aircraft FFB setting (e.g. on the special tab), so that I can choose to model FFB trim on the UH-1 and Mi-8, while leaving FFB disabled for the other aircraft. With the dearth of great FFB HOTAS controllers out there, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like this.

This will become even more important with the release of the Gazelle, which can trim both with force trim and hat switch (something that SimFFB does not support simultaneously).

I second that. It is beyond me why this still hasn't been implemented. Truely, how hard can it be. Please devs, make this the first item on your to-do list .
