Home Fries Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) I have both a Sidewinder FFB2 for helicopters, as well as the Warthog for fixed wing (and the Ka-50), and currently the way force feedback is modeled (global setting), I can trim with FFB but cannot trim with the Warthog (FFB checked), or I can trim with the Warthog (FFB unchecked) and need to use an external utility (SimFFB) to trim the SWFFB2. I would ideally like a per-aircraft FFB setting (e.g. on the special tab), so that I can choose to model FFB trim on the UH-1 and Mi-8, while leaving FFB disabled for the other aircraft. With the dearth of great FFB HOTAS controllers out there, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like this. This will become even more important with the release of the Gazelle, which can trim both with force trim and hat switch (something that SimFFB does not support simultaneously). Eldur Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'd second that request, especially as some modules' FFB isn't perfect.
archer86 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 +1 there is not a ffb quality level for every aircraft.
Flagrum Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 +1 A check box in the "FF Tune" dialog of the control settings would seem to me the most logical place for this.
Home Fries Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 bump for importance, given the amount of modules we no have and are getting. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide
joey45 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Would be great. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
