tovivan Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Anyone else having this problem too? It's the SFR Yugoslavia livery. I'm not running any mod whatsoever and this is the first time I've flown the '21 in a long time, so no clue how old this problem is.

SirBunker Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 The liveries are, just like most DCS mods, loose files placed in the game's directories, hence running a repair or uninstall will probably do nothing. They will likely not be removed unless you manually do so.
1.JaVA_Platypus Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I think I know what is going on. 1.2 liveries are not compatible with 1.5 liveries. Most liveries that are available as download are for 1.2. And I think some textures got messed-up with your specific livery. I can see the screenshot is made with DCS 1.5 because it has the aircraft numbers on them. A Blank metal livery is provided in 1.5, painting on the Serbian markings is easy. Every livery's description.lua has the code needed to make numbers work properly. The country while not having as many 21's as China or USSR, was still the Europe 4th strongest power, both economically (till the 80's) and militarily (until total disintegration), so definitely deserving of it's own skin. Even today if anybody asks you where you're from and you say "ex-Yugoslavia" they will know what it was and where it was, while few people will know to place it's former member countries on the map or even region/place in history. A Blank metal livery is provided in 1.5, painting on the Serbian markings is easy. Not Serbian, they're Yugoslavian. :P It's actually an important difference. But thanks for the link. :beer:
