Its $380 CAD or $280 US hell no. Lol. I am from Canada, also.

"Important Notice!

This item is backordered by the manufacturer." no one has them in stock. Saitek stopped making them maybe and replaced em with the Cesna one?

How does that work? I cannot find their "press release with further info".

Set in VKB Configuration Software* a profile that divide the rudder axis (the only in the pedal) in three bands and each of this bands to press the buttons 1, 2, 3.

* Profiles are stored in the pedal controller memory, is not need programs running in background in Windows.

In game set the buttons 1 and 3 for left and right brakes, the 2 do nothing.

In Q1 2016 is planed the release of more refined option, be pressing a button in joystick the rudder axis movement will press a left or right virtual brakes for the wheels.

If one don't plan do "aerobatic team taxi" this solutions is more than sufficient to brake for taxi maneuvers. :joystick:

Good choice! But TBH you'll find them even more enjoyable when you get your feet on them...

I think no,but compared to other pedals, they look still good and the feel & precision is more important for me.

I watched some reviews on YouTube, that helps me to place my Order.

And the VKB T-Rudder? Where are the toe brakes?? :D

Seen on the IL2 Forum that VKB are working on a virtual toebrake system for the rudder.

Could be wrong but I interpret that as a joystick button that's pressed and will activate brakes along with rudder, similar to what some Russian aircraft do.

Not as good as toebrakes but the VKB is a nice all metal product, with a unique step action and VERY compact so ideal for some.

I find the "step" good if you are sitting on a higher normal office chair than the conventional "push"

soo uh yeah, back on topic? I can't get the combat pedals.

LOL, and what is really scary - there are probably some folks out there that will buy them for that price!

I guess maybe they are not going to make the Combats anymore ( although I have not see official word on this), which would surprise me as they seemed to be popular.

And some folks are really trying to take advantage of this. Heck there are probably folks that is all they do, keep an eye out for popular items that may be discontinued, buy a few of them, and then later try to sell them for a ridiculous price.

The only ones I could find were the Cesna, not even the pro flight are available without a ridicules price.

Does anyone know if MFG Crosswinds will release an F-16 style set of pedals? I'm not a fan of the WW2 fighter style.

In March, 2015 MFG Newsletter was showed drawings of "combat" (heels on floor) - not "F-16'ish" - foot rest for their pedals.

But seems that in a "one man company" to develop a new product is need stop to make the actual. :D

BTW - Even in eBay Saitek pedals prices now are crazy!

http://www.mypilotstore.com/ has the 3 models available.

AFAIK Milan is thinking about that. The Crosswind's flexibility would surely allow for it. But I don't know anything concrete about it, and besides I prefer the current version. :)

Edit: Sniped ;)

Yeah, some boingo is asking $2,228.88 for a set of Pro Flight pedals there. What the hell???

I've still got a set of them as backup. Maybe I should sell it for the equivalent of two MFG Crosswinds which could then serve as backup, and backup's backup. That wouldn't be greedy, would it? :D

I am beginning to think these Saitek Combats, which are in excellent working order btw, might be very valuable once I get my Crosswinds.

I realize that was in jest. But all due respect, Saiteks are cheapo plastic garbage so WHO THE HELL thinks they're going to get 2 large for them? People are nuts!

I hear ya, oh they are worth something - but those prices, that is crazy. And as I said earlier, what is even crazier is there might be some out there that bite on them.

OK, so this beat to crap set of Pro Flights I've got in front of me is worth a grand or something? Wow. Better sell them pronto and get me a set of Komodos or some such...

Lol, I think you may have misunderstood me, I meant they were worth something - certainly nothing like those prices being advertised!

I am sure if they are in working order someone who needs pedals , that maybe just getting into the hobby, would probably buy them for a fair price.

Once my Crosswinds get here and I am comfortable with them I will probably sell my Combats which are in very good shape. But nothing like those prices, don't think I could sleep at night charging that kind of price if someone was nuts enough to pay it lol.
