I was asked to do a Huey skin modeled after the HH-65 Dolphin.

Attached is an early pic, though after looking at it, I should probably just move the CG stripe to the tail root, so I can place the coast guard text on the flank of the fuselage.

I agree that moving the white stripe further aft would probably look better.

Are you planning to release the skin? I'd love to use it, too! :thumbup:

 

Edit: Just saw the other thread about the Mi-8 skin so I guess this one will be released as well when it's ready.

If I may, I'd move the US Coast Guard text a bit lower and maybe move the roundel slightly aft, so it's centered on the door ?

I can't figure out how to get the blades to show the stripes when in motion, I think they do something different for those. Otherwise, it's getting close to "done enough"...

I'm currently testing some things on the Mi-8 skins first, but should carry over to the Huey too.

I'm thinking of making the "US CG" on the bottom white instead of black, would be easier to see that way. I'll push that change once I get the rotor blade coloring working too.

Though, after browsing the internet, looks like coast guard wears their unit patch on right shoulder and flag on the left. I'll need to fix that.
