Gals and Guys who got into the pit, could you use this thread to post videos of M-2000.

Thanks (nothing specific, any type of videos concerning Razbam's new module in DCS)

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

would love if somone who understands how the radar works could make a video about that =P.

I hope this can help, You can see me hitting the switches.

Read the manual for an explanation of the switches.

Radar lock is all HOTAS. You must use the ENTER key two times. The 1st to lock into TWS and the second for STT (if you want to use the Super 530D).

BACKSPACE clears the lock.

Wags conducted a cold start in one of the introductory M2000C videos.

You have a cold start checklist in the manual

i exactly said that i have seen the video and i have read page 72 of the manual. but i'm still having problems cold-starting

edit: my bad, there seems to be another cold start-up video. i had seen the night-time one, there's another one, i'll report it if it works by following it. thanks.

edit2: still having that HYDS hydraulics problem if i follow the other video

Took her round the mach loop and tried to bomb some ships...

will post vid as soon as it has been through prem pro and uploaded..

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

A video for the boys who hasn't the mirage 2000

Huh, folks. Let's not use the word Mirage 2000C. We know it is the Mirage, Dassault knows it is the Mirage. But they do not like other people using the word Mirage regarding their aircraft. So please edit it to DCS M-2000C.

Thanks

Are the RWR sound effects unique? Do different threats make different tones or is it one generic "beep beep" for scans, the "Blooper" for locks, and the "Buzzer" for launches?

Or does for example, only the SA-3 buzz, while a F-15 radar beeps, etc?

uhuh that's a "funny" situation, with dassault.

anyway, i found what was causing my HYDS error during startup: i wasn't selecting the EP switch :)

NO, it is the same sound for every warning. There is no information on the M-2000C RWR system so we had to create a generic one.

Yeah, Dassault is funny like that.

And congrats on finding the error in your ways.

Man I would buy this thing in an instant but I can't fly a plane without any cockpit button sounds. It just breaks all the realism for me. Please Razbam include proper cockpit sounds during beta and I will buy it instantaniously!
