Capn kamikaze Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Im gonna ask again, where is this massive marketing campaign saying the Mirage 2000 was nearly done, no one but you has seen it He has already responded to that question.
BaconSarnie Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 No he didnt, he utterly contradicted himself. Anyway enough of it, I for one am happy with the current state of the mirage, RAZBAM have stated constantly what state the plane would be in, if anything they've bent over backwards to get this product out to a baying public who have kept on asking, nay demanding for it. I say fair play to them and bravo for the way they have kept us informed at every stage, Zeus has been a legend with his constant updates. And lo, Reverend Vegas did say "Take forth unto the infidel the mighty GAU 8 and expend its holy 30MM so that freedom will be brung upon them who knoweth not the joys of BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT" "Amen"
TomCatMucDe Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Not all of us, not by a long shot. I'd rather wait until June for it if it meant it was usable, in its current state it just isn't. Who stopped you from waiting till June? Go ahead
Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I understand why some peoples are complaining. 60$ (final price) is very high ! Almost PMDG's price... We have no guarantee about our buying, if it will become as we want it (for this case DCS STANDARD LEVEL, like A-10C, Ka-50, MiG-21 or Uh-1). Its the problem of Betas (or alphas, depends on your definition). But You can participate actively to the improvement of the product, and that's the very good point of Betas/Alphas. That's why I ask when the M2000C will be released on Steam !? I'm mechanic (in formation) on Mirage 2000 (-5C, -5F and D, not C unfortunately) and i would like to participate to the open beta, to give my feed back to the developers. If i could help them for some Mechanic/Hydraulic features that i know from my job, I will give my participation with pleasure. But it need to be released on steam, a good comunity is waiting for, and by the way, when is the steam release of ''The Enemy Within'' A-10C Campaign too !? Thanks Stay Safe Down There :pilotfly:
pyromaniac4002 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 There's definitely an argument to be had as to whether M2kC is more accurately called "alpha" or "beta" at this point. I'm happy to have it now, I enjoy flying it, and for the time being I'll stick to F-15 or A-10C when I want to get things done. I'll buy an alpha version if it's something I'm excited about, but for those who expect a higher degree of completion they're entitled to know what they're buying. I can't blame people for being upset, though. To call something a "beta," I expect that the core functionality is there. M2kC's first job is that of an interceptor, without IFF and with so many screwed up keybinds where the radar is concerned (namely being able to slew the scanning volume to see anything but what's directly in front of you), multiplayer air-to-air combat is totally not viable outside of an air-start dogfight.
Aginor Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I don't even care what it is called. It is an unfinished version. If you don't like unfinished versions, then don't install something that is called "beta", "alpha" or something similar. It is simple. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
cameleon33 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 There's definitely an argument to be had as to whether M2kC is more accurately called "alpha" or "beta" at this point. So let's settle this with a "Still work to do on it". :smilewink: See you. Going back in the pit. :pilotfly: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
