humptydumpty Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hi, I am not sure about this but the nose keeps pitching up and is always bouncing , like it's never straight even when I trim it, the nose bounce is noticeable when I am trying to hold her straight, or a decent , I was going fast low over Adler and just could not keep the nose level. Is it supposed to be like that ? I am not a real pilot so I cannot judge. I do get a lot of flame outs and also drop like a rock during a turn. Hmm Is it a joystick setting ? Thanks. Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Maybe a joystick settings. I've add a little curvature to both my roll and pitch axis to have a more fluide and precise comportment, my joy is a cheap TM 16 000 M. To be honest i'm very happy with the Fishbed flight model, it looks very very good, but it could still be improved at some altitude, roll/pitch angles and speeds. Try to set your joystick, for me it doesn't bounce like you said. Stay Safe Down There :pilotfly:

Will revert back with the changes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Attitude Power Trim Power Attitude Trim Wing Commander SWAC
HugePanic Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 What is the amplitude of your oszillation? What is the frequency?
humptydumpty Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Oszillation ? do you mean the soft bounce ? It is mostly noticeable during the pitch control. I have to hold the stick so that the nose go up or down depending. I put the curves to 25 so its better but I do need to test more. Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 ouuuh, you're curve is really... curved.. 25 ? I'm only at 10. The nose goes up and down if you don't hold the stick ??
cquail Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I usually have my curvatures set to 19 or 20. I did read a thread somewhere when the Mig was first released that had recommended axis settings. Off the top of my head I can't recall what they were though. But as far as an "oscillation" goes I don't recall having this occur. The Mig is very trim happy. Every little bit of speed change means you're going to have to re-trim it.

Yep Happens also during pitch so I need to hold the stick every time even if I trim her on speed / weather changes. grunf Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Press Rctrl+Enter to see your control inputs, check if the controls are centered when you're not touching the stick. Also check if your trim switch is turned on, its on the right panel, top row IIRC. :D
