Talisman_VR Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Updated from 1.2, did not take part in any alpha/beta testing, but 1.5 fails to launch despite running DCS repair and restarting PC several times. V 1.5 says it is up-to-date. Buzzles Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Have you updated your GFX drivers? Also try removing SweetFx if you're using it. Also, what do your logs say? (C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS\Logs) Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!

Talisman_VR Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Ok, fixed problem. When I selected DCS full uninstall, it actually left a DCS folder in program files. When I deleted this folder the fresh installation worked ok, so must have been something in the old program files folder that caused a conflict. Shame the uninstaller did not fully uninstall DCS and all associated folders. Now have a new problem, lol. The module manager lets me download the Mig 15 that I own, but not the P51D for some frustrating reason  Thanks for your positive replies folks. Happy landings, Talisman
