I have discovered that my elderly Cyborg keyboard will not work in Windows 10. I have looked for and tried multiple solutions and haven't found anything that works. I really like having some programmable keys for key combos that I don't have room for or don't want on the joystick. I just ordered a inexpensive programmable keyboard off E-Bay but it may end up being a piece of junk.

Recommendations? Anyone got a good one?

While I have never used the programmable keys on the keyboard, I do really like my Logitech G19 keyboard with it's LCD display.

I have the Logitech G510s, its got 18 programmable keys with three modes gives you 54 keys , i like it, its not mechanical, thats the downside, i was given it for a gift. Heres a vid it explains better. I dont work for Logitech or sell the stuff BTW.

The X-Keys line by PI Engineering is the only programmable keyboard I've ever found to be suitable for use in my pit. They're pricey, but well worth it IMO; I now own two, the older 58-key version and a newer 80-key version.

You know, I just remembered I have an old Logitech G15 out in the storage. I will have to dig it out and see if I can still find drivers for it.

I drug my old G15 out of the shed, downloaded drivers and software from Logitech, and it works perfectly!!! Kudos to Logitech, shame on Saitek!!!

Programmable Keyboard Recommendation?

I had a G15 (old one, grey LCD) until it broke: Some keys refused to respond. Now I have a G19. I have to say: I miss the G15...

For a 'fully' programmable keyboard, the only good choices are Razor or Corsair, IMHO.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

The Logitech G510s keyboard is an excellent for keyboard for flight sims.

I've had mine for several years, it's been reliable and very easy to program and edit.

Having three sets of 18 programmable keys means you can use a specific set for a certain aircraft, or system within an aircraft. Great for mapping comms too.
