Pink Flanker skin?

I'm the guy that started the flame war that generated the Pink Flanker skin in Flanker 1.5. It was Papa Doc's comment in that little flame war that made the Pink Flanker skin happen...:lol::thumbup:

There was one for Flaming Cliffs. But, after posting the above, I reread your original post to make sure we were talking about the Flanker title and not Flaming Cliffs. No. Of course, there is no other. :)

There isn't a skin for FC3.x yet. Last I'm aware of is the one attached (FC1.x).

 

Papa Doc is still around, evidently. Just check the root address.

OK, I'm going to see if I can make this a thing. Does anyone have a skin template for the Su-27 / -33? I have some but they're from way back in FC1 days and aren't of high enough detail for FC3. If someone can post one here I'll get to work after I get home tomorrow.

Have to say, it's very generous of ED to give us the 'official' skin templates! Thanks ED Team :)

 

Edited to add: well, that's a show stopper. Paint Shop Pro doesn't have a DDS plugin so it can't natively manipulate S3TC textures :(

 

Looks like someone who has Photoshop will have to take up the challenge.

EDIT: Just downloaded and scanned one of the linked files and didn't find anything questionable. But don't have PSP to see if it works.

Well hell. I would drive a pink flanker any day of the week. Bring on the skin. Now all we need is a florescent green F15C skin and a willing server host for some RED vs BL...erm PINK vs GREEN matchups! ;)
