But I can't drop gbu at high altitude like in the movie , because I have to acquire the target in CCRP ...

If I have to drop a bomb on a building ,

I should have the ability to load a fixed point in my flight plan ,

and to drop the gbu at high altitude without the prior acquisition of the target

When Razbam conclude the INS coding you will be able to enter a WP with the coordinates info passed by the JTAC or other A-10C and aim on that WP without lock over the terrain.

Or i think so.

that wouldn't be realistic with versions we get

Yup, been discussed before. The laser range finder on the Gazelle won't guide LGBs.

I have been told the INS of the M2000 doesn't provide this ability.

Thanks QuiGon.

But at least you could set the WP see the cross below 10 km of it and mark the terrain just on it using the wp as a reference. So its almost the same.

Have just been messing about with the JTAC CTDL script Hoover mission http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2671232&postcount=50 and yes you can drop from over 35000 without placing a target spot, set up a mirage airbourne @ 35000 flew straight towards the Hoover damn, ask the AFAC to laze, select the GBU's and RS mode, released in a climb to make sure i got away form the SAMs @ about 25 - 40 seconds out from target, the bomb picked up the lazer and glided straight to target, they never even knew i was there :D
