LynxDK Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I didnt link anything m8, just stated the fact that many shops sell replicas, simply trying to help people by giving them answers on where to find alternatives. Isnt helping eachother what the forum is about? :) But im sorry if i offended you in any way, that was definately not my intention. 1 Regards. LynxDK [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Instagram
Deadman Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Yes it is. I think I have helped many out with free information as you should know first hand. Buy you asking the question "Isn't(sic) helping each other (sic) what the forum is about?" it would seam to insinuate I have not. ( I am getting tried of that from people. ) It was a simple request not to derail the thread with an advertisement. Thanks for your cooperation. tbies Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Thanks all! I think must have typing the part number wrong - 'I' when it was a 'l'. Anyways, great list Deadman! I was able source many other of the components you listed for my build. Very helpful!

Alburg Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Hi, I just wondered if anyone would have an alternative for the Clarostat P009? I've been searching but it seems like there is no Clarostat anymore. Thanks and cheers Sven
Hansolo Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Any potentiometer 1-10kohm should do just fine. I will use these; http://www.mouser.dk/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=3852A-282-502ALvirtualkey65210000virtualkey652-3852A-282-502AL But that was more because I was trying to find some which had a thread size that fitted best in the original back plate I have. If you make your own back plate you wouldn't have this problem. Cheers Hans 132nd Virtual Wing homepage & 132nd Virtual Wing YouTube channel My DCS-BIOS sketches & Cockpit Album

Deadman Posted June 28, 2017 Author Posted June 28, 2017 Hans Thanks for the information I did not add these because you can find A C6280A (P)/APX cheep on eBay usually for under $50 with shipping so you could not build the panel that cheap. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Alburg Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Just a quick question Let's for example take a MS24523-23 which is a ON-ON switch. For us using DCS-BIOS wouldn't also also be possible to use a MS24523-22 which is a OFF-On switch? Or is there a difference in the travel angle between ON-ON and OFF-On? Thanks and cheers Sven
Deadman Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 No difference in the regular bat switches i have in the travel. the ON-ON switches are usually cheeper you can use DCS bios to program the switch so you can use an ON-ON as an ON-OFF https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Hansolo Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Yeah it look like it. Just Google the switch type e.g. 12TW1-50 and a Honeywell link should come up Cheers Hans 132nd Virtual Wing homepage & 132nd Virtual Wing YouTube channel My DCS-BIOS sketches & Cockpit Album
