Espéce De salaud Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 DO we ever use the extra 2 buttons for the gun? Is there a way for the gun to be jammed or is it not implemented?
Zabuzard Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 For me it jamms quite frequently, so yes it's implemented and works.
WinterH Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I remember jamming the gun quite a few times when the module released. Guess I got used to using it now since I don't jam it anymore. Espéce De salaud Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 But how to make it jam? I have never seen mine jam in the 400+ hours of flying it?
Nooch Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 But how to make it jam? I have never seen mine jam in the 400+ hours of flying it? Same for me, I have never seen mine jamming... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Buzzles Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) Jamming the gun is easy, just manouver while firing it. Most gun shots are done either around 1g or when in a steady state (ie, sustained +2/3g turns), not actually jinking around, so you don't see many jams normally Edited March 25, 2016 by Buzzles Fancy trying Star Citizen? Custard Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 But how to make it jam? I have never seen mine jam in the 400+ hours of flying it? I've jammed it with excessive maneuvering before, like everything in that plane it hates 0G. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Espéce De salaud Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Still nothing, posotive gs and negative

Vincent90 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 How do you know the difference between a jam and an empty cartridge?
Custard Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Nice profile Pic, custard One day I'll make a .gif version that flashes. One day... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Buzzles Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 How do you know the difference between a jam and an empty cartridge? If by cartridge you mean the entire ammo drum, then the answer is you don't really. The only way you'll know is when you use another pyro charge that the green light comes back on or not. Muppetlord Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 It happened to me two times in a mission a few weeks ago. That was the only time I've ever had to do it. Weird.
Hadwell Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 you need to be firing them, it's pretty random when it happens, can be because you're pulling G's, sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason... but they do jam... in my recollection it's happened 3 times for me, though only once when I was actually trying to shoot someone down...
