We can see the visual effect at high angle turns, stalls and spins but there is no ffb effect on joystick controller.

You have added ffb effects on mig-15 and works great.

Will you implement those effects on F-86 later?

Thanks

What do you mean precisely, stick shake? If you're talking about stick shake please note that actually not all planes in real life do experience this buffet / vibration thing when stalling. Only some do, depending on the fuselage and wings design.

He means the feature of the msffb2 joystick that causes a 5-10Hz vibration when the simulated aircraft is about to stall.

No, it is not always realistic, but the way the msffb2 works you typically get the vibration even in a fbw aircraft, so people notice when it is missing.

If it is intentionally absent, all the developer has to do is say so.

Yes I asked about the stick shake during high aoa, stalls and the spins like as Mig-15 have which was applied 2 patch ago.

I tought that they are same era aircrafts but why doesnt f-86 have ffb effects like mig?

thank for your reply but I have saitek cyborg evo force.:)

I just wonder about ffb shake effects for sabre.

You probably know this already but I'm gonna say it just in case. In the sim the stick shake thing is just there to make you feel the buffeting happening on your aircraft wings. In real life your stick is never going to vibrate, even if your aircraft does (with the exception of some airliners, which have this feature to make stalls very obvious).

yes I agree with you.

I am confused because that aircraft is too old:)

The Sabre won´t have FFB shake, bacause there is nothing to shake for the sabre.

The hydraulic system prevents this.

The MiG OTOH has only hydraulic boosters for the ailerons, but pure muscle power for elevator.

That´s why the MiG-15 has stick shake and the Sabre doesn´t.

I just tried a Mig v Sabre server after a long time away from flying these birds and found the FFB hugely different in the two planes.

The Mig 15 stick shakes when the plane starts shaking on the edge of stall and at high altitude and during hard maneuvers it is really a handful. I lost control at high mach and high alt.

Then I tried the sabre and it had no stick shaking during hard maneuvers.

I thought at first that the sabre was not FFB implemented but this thread clears that up.

The difference between these two planes is what makes the match up so interesting.

This FFB difference just adds to the relative flavour of each plane.

Hi Archer86,

I also use the Saitek cyborg evo force feedback joystick and love flying the Mig-15 due to the feedback from the aircraft that makes it feel like a real live beast to fly, rather than just a dead thing, LOL.

I would also recommend the force feedback Gametrix Jetseat to add to this sense of immersion.

Every now and then second hand, hardly used, Saitek cyborg evo ff sticks become available to add to my collection, but I wish a new ff stick could be produced by a developer somewhere for all of us to enjoy without resorting to the second hand market.

Happy landings,

Remember that each aircraft acts differently. Just because they are of the same era, doesn`t mean that both will shake during the transition into stall. Keep that in mind
