USN T-45 Using The Sight Fixed Grid.

I thought the T-45 was only used for basic flight skills training like carrier landing, take offs etc but here you can see naval pilots dropping dumb bombs using the SFG.

A few more vids:

F18 - Wild Carrier Landing: it was looking so good until..

Russian Carrier Admiral Kuznetsov: nice in-cockpit footage of a carrier landing.

Thx mate, I really liked the carrier qual one though.

Yeah .. I laughed when the guys note pad went flying off the top of the cockpit..

:)

If you like that then check this out, some awesome Tomcat action; really good example of the term “paid to play”.

It can be done. Its a bit tricky to get set up to do it, but after that its as easy as a mouse-click. That place is pretty addictive because of all the cool stuff you can find there. :D

If you have only seen 1989 then you are missing the WHOLE series of Fighter Fling

I’ve seen quite a few of them .. but 89 is one of favorites because of the cloud top flying, really gives you a sense of speed.

Another good one is 95, the first few minutes give you an insight into how they grade landings and also in cockpit footage of an F14 simulated kill against a Mig29; check it out.

Since google and Youtube videos started becoming the main, my vid collection has gone to hell.

Anyone able to provide a .avi or .wmv of the Kuz video? Would be greatly appreciated.

is this ok?

Correction: there IS A WAY to download these to your HD but it requires some work on your side. Just grab a video you like on toutube or google video or whatever that streams video and go to http://keepvid.com/ and type in the link, and it will give you the option of downloading it in several formats. If you download a .flv file, no problem. Download a program called Super http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=SUPER_1

Its very powerful and can covert just about anything to anything. And the best part is, they are all free. So keep your vid collection high gentleman! :D

Thanks millions kamikaze! You have no idea how helpful that is.

I used to be a youtube hater for that, but recently I started to surf them and they really DO have EVERYTHING. I could be kept hooked there for hours. Only thing missing was a way to dl them.

One thing Though, How the heck do you get this working. I put in the link, such as this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJT1ODQ8iBk&mode=related&search= and then it gives me a dl link. But all it does is save this file called "Get_video" to my desktop.

the keepvid site is a little tricky to get use to. Probably because its providing a free service when you usually need payware softwares to capture these videos. So it does have its limitations.

alright now back to your problem, did you remember to tye in .flv behind the name of the file you are trying to save? Also i clicked onyour link but didn't find a video, maybe it was a broken link? Also, i discovered that if you found a specific video by searching for it in youtube or google video and copied that into the keepvid site, it usually doesn't work since it has a very long url. You need the actual link with the vid ID for example www.youtube.com/airplanevideo (fake address so don't click on it) rather than www.youtube.com/search=bla_bla_bla...air+plane+video..etc. I hope this makes sense.
