I just wanted to chime in here and voice a problem that BSD has been experiencing. Since DCSW 1.5.5, we cannot connect in UR. The UR plugin in TS shows the red Not connected status for several of us.

Check your ..\Saved Games\DCS\log\dcs.log

 

If you use helios export, there is an error about "os.setlocale("ISO-8559-1", "numeric")"

Delete or comment this line.

 

When an error exists in export.lua, all exports, dofile won't work.

Perhaps the same problem from export.lua with "os.setlocale("ISO-8559-1", "numeric")" error (Helios), described in \log\dcs.log ?

Testing tonight. Shu and I did get it to show connected on the TS one time a few days ago but that's as far as we got.

update: By completely uninstalling and reinstalling all UR components, the issue was resolved.

File Tacnoworld_UR_DCSW.luac was missing I suppose. Normally in this case, UR control panel showed it as export "Not installed".

I have it installed and can't get anything to work right. I will look at the website and see if If I can find detailed instructions. Done for tonight though.

 

Like the concept so far. I have the plugin activated on TS and have my export file done. I also have the PTT button set. Two A/C are set to 251.000 and nothing. Ugh....

1. Restart your PC

2. check your \Saved Games\DCS\log\dcs.log where no export.lua error exists

3. Plugin activated in TS\options\Plugin (if not activated, check it and restart TS)

4. Having a running DCS

5. Check in TS the UR status of your nickname : connected

6. check you get the good radio and frequencies

7. check you get the good radio selection (modify input from UR dashboard/Control panel // hot modification is possible)

8. check when you want to talk : radio is displayed in blod AND TS blue light is on (add the same input in UR and TS PTT is a good way)

I got up this error but cant find anywhere in my firewall where it is blocking TS or UR?

 

Nevermind, forgot to add the Lua line as the last line. that was what that stopped it.

seems to work fine even with the error above as it doesnt display when launching TS only when re initiating the plugin

Often, it's due because severals ts3client_win64.exe are running. (start other TS when an other isn't shutdown.

Most simple is to reboot your PC, else kill all these processes

Doesn't seem to work for me. Very frustrated.

 

I have attached a picture of my pit so I am no slouch when it comes to this sort of thing. This is for another sim setup that I tested last night. I primarily fly DCS.

I sent the mail, but in the meantime I think I have solved the problem.

I do not know why, but there was an error in the Export.lua file,in the Tacview string.

The wrong Tacview string,compromised the operation for the other software like UniversRadio ecc ecc...
