I tried to look for this option to be released in this open beta patch note...but cant seam to find it... anyone found the zoom feature in VR ?

This zoom does not work for me. Vive. Any idea why? I have bound the vr zoom to a hotas 4 way switch, but it does nothing. The other 3 directions work for their bindings.

7700K@5Ghz, 32GB 3600 CL16, 3080.

Same here. Also does not work with the Vive. Seems to be a Rift only feature (for now)?!

At this point it's safe to say it will not currently work with Vive, and is not advertised to do so:

Oculus Rift. RadioCommunications and triggered messages menu font increased

Oculus Rift. Kneeboard and terrain clipping issues fixed

Oculus Rift. Oculus Zoom action added to "UI layer" input options

Oculus Rift. VR settings can now be applied without restarting GUI

Thanks for clearing that up!

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the new VR features but at the moment figuring out which options actually work for the Vive is a lot trial and error. And nobody (at least not me) claimed that it has been advertised to work for the Vive and does not.

But it does beg the question, why have they not made it work for the Vive when there are probably as many Vive users as Rift?? Is it something that the Vive is not capable of? Or have they just not got around to doing it for the Vive yet...?

Does the new zoom function level the playing field sufficiently in PvP air combat against full HD monitor users to make VR viable option in that regard?

How do you use this with CV1? I don't see any options to use it and I don't understand what you are supposed to do to get it to work? Thanks!

Is it possible to increase the Zoom-Speed?
