Beeroshima Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 You need to search MFG or milanflightgear.com then email him. They aren't listed on his page yet. Sent while I should be working instead.
Milan MFG Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Hi everyone Sorry for not being on forums lately...One of our CNC operators quit job so I'm pretty much in production again, currently educating new worker, testing pedals myself again etc... MFG Warthog extensions was supposed to enter sales when our webshop is finished, along with getting MFG Crosswind pedals in stock :-) Unfortunately that is delayed a bit till we get new worker producing desired quantity of pieces on CNC again :-) In any case... above info is TRUE , We have extensions IN STOCK... If you want to mount the stick at offset YOU CAN...in fact at any offset you like..simple as adjust the grip by rotating it and tighten the screw in that position. FOR ORDERING you can use our web contact form write number of extensions and lenght ( e.g. 2x(10+12cm) ) Write your shipping adress in detail ( important so we know if we include VAT on invoice or not) We will respond by sending paypal invoice to your e-mail adress I hope you like it...more products to come. I guess we have been too busy producing complicated pedals just to realise that others are selling so simple product for so high price...we decided to jump in by giving you fair offer, as always :-) Milan
Kornskydiver Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Thanks brother! Just what I was looking for! I Just sent my payment for all 3! Like others have stated...Milan is very responsive! LeCuvier Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Need to adapt to longer joystick... I received all 3 extensions. Very nicely machined! Just for fun, I put all 3 extensions together and tried my WH joystick (sitting on the floor). The movement required for full pitch or roll is huge of course and requires far more space than I have. I now use just the shortest extension with the Bf-109. The difference compared to the unextended WH joystick is enormous, and I find I have to re-learn manoeuvering and especially aiming at a manoeuvering target. Will take a bit of time but should be ok. I plan to cut a 11 cm hole in my tabletop and mount the joystick from below, so I don't need to have my right arm way up in the air. hansangb Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Looks like mine got delivered. I'm going to see if I can make a mount for TM. I can swap it out with Komodo that's mounted on my DIY base. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
aaron886 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 These are great. High polish aluminum, easily installed, and fits perfectly. The ability to set the grip angle however you desire is nice. 7.5cm is perfect for my use, and really does a lot to correct the stiction and hard center of the Warthog. Combine that 7.5cm extension with MonsterTech's Warthog mount and you've got a sweet setup. Highly recommended!
Kornskydiver Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 These things really are awesome! I picked up the 3 pack to try them all out and ended up going for the 10cm for my setup. If anyone is interested the other two have been posted on the sales section since I won't be using them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hansangb Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Here are some pictures of the extensions in action I made a little stand for my Komodo cyclic with the ability to quickly swap out for my TM. This was just the prototype, but I got lazy and just made it into "production" :) I can reach all quadrants comfortably. Also, I've been using the spring mod ( but I reversed it back to normal. With the extension, the main springs work just fine. It's very light touch... Here's the rudder + Komodo cyclic and here's the TM Warthog. You can see the two extensions with a slight twist on the joystick. It makes it more comfortable when flying. Macca Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 How do you adjust the offset of the MFG ones? I’m waiting for mine to arrive and am damn curious. Can’t wait for the crosswinds, too... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hansangb Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 It's been a while, but IIRC, you can rotate the joystick a bit before you lock it down. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
