FalconPlot16 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 i bought this bird 3 days ago and i need that heading hold on landings it is working sometimes but mostly it is not working altitute hold and pitch hold is working fine only heading hold is not working
ricktoberfest Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 It's not an instant fix. You'll see the pedals trying to correct for yaw. Especially on landing when the collective is changing a lot. It's mainly good for when you're in steady flight already (whether that's a hover or stable flight). Even then you have to deal with a lot of movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FalconPlot16 Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 i can land without it but it helps a lot for stabilize nose do you have any idea how can i make it work ? there is no green light on heading autopilot button
BodyOrgan Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Moving your rudder disengages the heading hold. If you re-center your rudder the heading hold will re-engage. To really make it work you'll need the AI flight engineer enabled and the rudder trim enabled.
FalconPlot16 Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 rudder trim is still activated how to activate flight engineer ?
Art-J Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 First of all, there IS green light on hading autopilot button. Left column, upper button turns AP on, lower turns it off. When the "autopilot adjustment" is set to on in special options, virtual flight engineer seems to be doing adjustments form the get go. When set to off, I think You have to command him to do so, though I don't remember how this function is called in Mi-8 controls, as I haven't used it for a long time. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
FalconPlot16 Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 now heading hold is working i activated all circuit breakers looks like i missed a switch before now its works
