I forgot about that placed I drawings for Su-27 or not, however here is one of the most correct drawings.

But even its have some small inexactnesses so I recommend without fall to address to good Su-27 images.

The Su-27 drawings look very good - do you also have good ones for the Su-33?.

 

I am collecting reference material on the Su-33 and already have two sets of drawings - but the more the better :) .

Do you plan to make missile launcher racks for your Su-27 model(APU-470 and AKU-470 for R-27 missiles)?.

 

If you do, then we could collaborate on this - I am currently working on defining said missile/launcher rack combinations in Lock-on, but I don't have proper looking rack shapes(only some crude ones I made myself).

OK, you guys gave Strikemax your opinion, and the screenshots of the wire-frame, and the most recent shot of the model superimposed on an actual aircraft picture close to perfectly level should cease all discussion regarding this.

 

The model looks indeed perfect. Keep up the work, looking for more news or updates soon!

 

Id also like to thank you Strikemax for wireframe shots that I asked for, and other side shots too. Now I believe I'm left without any doubts into your l33t modeling skills :robot: Please keep up the good work, and fine tune all the little glitches if there are still any :smilewink: I have full confidence in you. :thumbup:

Ok I made the first two missile-rack combinations(and they are working):

 

- R-27R + APU-470 (for wing stations)

- R-27R + AKU-470 (for stations on underside of air-intakes/between engines)

 

Now that the two new launcher racks are defined, I "just" need to make the rest of the combos:

 

- R-27RE + APU-470

- R-27RE + AKU-470

 

- R-27T + APU-470

- R-27TE + APU-470

One of the two sets I have has been cut up into 4 separate pieces and unfortunately something went wrong in the process - the different pieces are very difficult to piece together into the proper scale again, which is why I am on the lookout for other(better) plans.

Speaking about the Su-33, i think it would be great if someone made a new refueling boom for the tanker. The one in the game right now is very "stiff" so once you are hook on, the thing just basically moves like a straight line. I was wondering was it possible to recreate this model and make it more rope-like? That way in case we miss the basket, it doesn't just fly into our nose but rather bounce off our external model and such. I think this would be a very nice project since i don't believe black shark will cover this area.

Although a very nice evolution over the steam locomotive like cocpits of the russians, this 2 MFD layout is nothing out of ordinary these days.

Would like to have that in the SIM thats for sure.

Ok it might not be exactly the one India gets, but it is certainly a newer evolution than the original one from 1990 - that one didn't have LCDs, so it cannot be that old Fisben :) .
