ED Team Chizh Posted September 24, 2006 ED Team Posted September 24, 2006 I forgot about that placed I drawings for Su-27 or not, however here is one of the most correct drawings. But even its have some small inexactnesses so I recommend without fall to address to good Su-27 images.Su-27_A&V_drawings.part1.rarSu-27_A&V_drawings.part2.rar Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. StrikeMax Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Now i can see geometry problems more clearly. Please compare this pictures : You don't read the replies, you only want to support your claim.!! this has been handled in posts #66 #67. Pls read before posting. Thats my advise to you.
Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Chizh, The Su-27 drawings look very good - do you also have good ones for the Su-33?. I am collecting reference material on the Su-33 and already have two sets of drawings - but the more the better :) . Cheers, - JJ. JJ
StrikeMax Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 And to everyone else, I am using ref.drawing su-27-4 in from the files chizh has just posted. Also please refere to posts # 51 and #60. that is my case.
Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 StrikeMax, Do you plan to make missile launcher racks for your Su-27 model(APU-470 and AKU-470 for R-27 missiles)?. If you do, then we could collaborate on this - I am currently working on defining said missile/launcher rack combinations in Lock-on, but I don't have proper looking rack shapes(only some crude ones I made myself). Cheers, - JJ. JJ

Shaman Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Strikemax's Flanker model OK, you guys gave Strikemax your opinion, and the screenshots of the wire-frame, and the most recent shot of the model superimposed on an actual aircraft picture close to perfectly level should cease all discussion regarding this. The model looks indeed perfect. Keep up the work, looking for more news or updates soon! Id also like to thank you Strikemax for wireframe shots that I asked for, and other side shots too. Now I believe I'm left without any doubts into your l33t modeling skills :robot: Please keep up the good work, and fine tune all the little glitches if there are still any :smilewink: I have full confidence in you. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yes,definitely. Ok I made the first two missile-rack combinations(and they are working): - R-27R + APU-470 (for wing stations) - R-27R + AKU-470 (for stations on underside of air-intakes/between engines) Now that the two new launcher racks are defined, I "just" need to make the rest of the combos: - R-27RE + APU-470 - R-27RE + AKU-470 - R-27T + APU-470 - R-27TE + APU-470 Cheers, - JJ. Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Alfa, I haven't drawings for Su-33 yet. I'll try to find. Ok :) - if you find any I would be very interested. Also if you would like to have a look at the ones I have, just let me know :) . One of the two sets I have has been cut up into 4 separate pieces and unfortunately something went wrong in the process - the different pieces are very difficult to piece together into the proper scale again, which is why I am on the lookout for other(better) plans. Cheers, - JJ. JJ

SuperKungFu Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Speaking about the Su-33, i think it would be great if someone made a new refueling boom for the tanker. The one in the game right now is very "stiff" so once you are hook on, the thing just basically moves like a straight line. I was wondering was it possible to recreate this model and make it more rope-like? That way in case we miss the basket, it doesn't just fly into our nose but rather bounce off our external model and such. I think this would be a very nice project since i don't believe black shark will cover this area. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 OMG.....hold the press! Sensation!..:surprise: Look what I found at the site with the Su-33 walk-around Kuch.. New MiG-29K cockpit! It doesn't say, but it is the new MiG-29K cockpit with colour LCDs!. Cheers, - JJ. JJ
StrikeMax Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 NoseGear..Almost there When this part is totally finished, fitted and properly animated, a major milestone in finalising the model would be reached. NB. To chizh or forum admin, Is it possible to increase my file attachment capacity, Im running out of space. 1
SuperKungFu Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 VERY NICE STRIKE! I think that nose gear looks better than the Su-25T. btw what's the current poly count? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Although a very nice evolution over the steam locomotive like cocpits of the russians, this 2 MFD layout is nothing out of ordinary these days. Would like to have that in the SIM thats for sure. .
Alfa Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Sorry, but this is very old 29K cockpit. New planes will have other other... Very old? . Ok it might not be exactly the one India gets, but it is certainly a newer evolution than the original one from 1990 - that one didn't have LCDs, so it cannot be that old Fisben :) . Cheers, - JJ. JJ

Old ?? Really Anyway that’s probably better news seeing as ED most likely wont get any info on the latest and greatest and I can damn well live with that cockpit :D Cozmo.
