Skwurl Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm wondering what clipping means in the advanced graphics congifuration of modman. Also, does anyone have a detailed list of what each slider does...the modman descriptions are a little vague. Thanks
bogusheadbox Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I gues that makes it 57 Views. But sorry mate. Don't really know. I think Clipping is a graphical error where sections don't quite meet up and you get some anomolies around the join. But i could be horribly wrong. I have not dowloaded this yet. Game seems to run fine on just stock 1.12a
Vampyre Master Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Hi bflagg your lockon site dont work V.m.
bflagg Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 VM, ...from my work PC it appears and loads fine... what kinda of error are you getting? Site doesn't exist error? Formatting error?.... (browser specific??) Thanks, Brett
Skwurl Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 clipping definition This doesn't really explain how the slider interacts with lock-on though.
TekaTeka Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 'Clipping' is the display range limit. Beyond the clipping range, LockOn doesn't draw the objects. The unit is meter. Larger clipping means more objects you see but less FPS. what kinda of error are you getting? Site doesn't exist error? Formatting error?.... (browser specific??) Firefox and Opera don't show your page properly. IE does. They show only this. <%@ Language=JavaScript %> TekaTeka from Japan [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Visit my site Beyond Visual Range.

Larger clipping means more objects you see but less FPS. Hmm... I can see how that would work for trees and structures, but even settings such as lights have clipping. Does that mean that lights wouldn't show at a certain range?
hitman Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Hi bflagg your lockon site dont work V.m. Works for me...
bflagg Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 thanks for the input guys... ..as for clipping the lights, I think it enables fog/mist to cover the lights and distance parameters outside the limits of your slider choice... Thanks, Brett
