Good catch Gozr! I couldn't get past his Muj beard. :D

Technically speaking, both eyes are supposed to be open during any type of weapon firing, unless its night fire FX. Well at least thats what I was told when in training.

Come on is it that big of a deal, are you going to see his EYE? Lets try not to be so picky.

To expect accuracy ovoid all mistakes at base.

Build the fondations real strong and you will built big buildings on the top of it. ;)

Yup. The 65 sure seems to have some awesome anti-personnel capabilities. :D

I understand that but his eye isn't going to make anything stronger. It's just going to take time away from something more important.

We "could" but then again I usually see Igla's getting smashed by my maverics.

A bit of a waste of a Mav ... GAU-8 is THE weapon of choice for those pesky Iglas - and now you can hold fire until you see the white of his open eye! Save the Mavs for SA-8/19s!

It "could" be a waste, but who doesnt want to break a few laws within the Geneva Convention?! Come to think of it, hitting a person with more than a .50cal round is technically in violation of the Geneva Convention...so why not throw a couple mavs at manpads? :D

Well, for me its trains and buses - with the gun! A Frog with 4 of those gun pods is good, but the GAU-8 is still king!

It's better than having them both closed, that's for sure :D Ouuugh... all the movies where poorley trained people fire shoulder launched weapons in the wrond direction.... :D

Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.

Not if you're trying to destroy equipment. A gun, MANPAD and a helmet are all considered equipment.

LOL! I don't know if that one would stand up in the court martial:

Convening Authority: So, were you aware it was in violation of the Geneva convention when you shot the bad guy with your 30mm cannon?

A10 Pilot: Of course I'm aware of that! Duh! Thats why I wasn't going for him though, I was trying to shoot his rifle out of his hand, and his helmet off his head. About 50 of the rounds missed though, hitting him and turning him into dog food. Most regrettable, terribly sorry about that.

Convening Authority:........ (Stunned silence)

Yeah it wouldnt fly very far, but I guess the argument "He had a smoke in his mouth and I was just trying to shoot it out of his mouth and this 30mm long rifle is the only thing I had that could reach out and touch him from here and I accidentally shot him in the head" could theoretically work here. :D
