Guest IguanaKing Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Good catch Gozr! I couldn't get past his Muj beard. :D
Disso Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 ROFL! Nice catch! Haha...that's too funny! SU-30MKI F/A-18F ...Beauty, grace, lethality.
hitman Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Technically speaking, both eyes are supposed to be open during any type of weapon firing, unless its night fire FX. Well at least thats what I was told when in training.
theGozr Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 Hitman yes you are right it depend of what weapons and situation. But certainly not closing this eye ;) LOL.. Fly it like you stole it..
Guest Cali Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Come on is it that big of a deal, are you going to see his EYE? Lets try not to be so picky.
hitman Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 We "could" but then again I usually see Igla's getting smashed by my maverics.
theGozr Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 To expect accuracy ovoid all mistakes at base. Build the fondations real strong and you will built big buildings on the top of it. ;) Fly it like you stole it..
Guest IguanaKing Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Yup. The 65 sure seems to have some awesome anti-personnel capabilities. :D
Guest Cali Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 To expect accuracy ovoid all mistakes at base. Build the fondations real strong and you will built big buildings on the top of it. ;) I understand that but his eye isn't going to make anything stronger. It's just going to take time away from something more important.
ARM505 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Do the MANPADS still smoke and eventually blow up when hit? I always thought that was hilarious!
EvilBivol-1 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Erm... I don't think his eye is closed at all... Just a warped texture IMO. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
Weta43 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 It's an old war wound - that eye is missing. (he can put his finger up his nostril & out that eye socket ) Cheers.
Kula66 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 We "could" but then again I usually see Igla's getting smashed by my maverics. A bit of a waste of a Mav ... GAU-8 is THE weapon of choice for those pesky Iglas - and now you can hold fire until you see the white of his open eye! Save the Mavs for SA-8/19s!
Force_Feedback Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Mullah Mohammed Omar!? Is that you? :megalol: :prop: Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
hitman Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 A bit of a waste of a Mav ... GAU-8 is THE weapon of choice for those pesky Iglas - and now you can hold fire until you see the white of his open eye! Save the Mavs for SA-8/19s! It "could" be a waste, but who doesnt want to break a few laws within the Geneva Convention?! Come to think of it, hitting a person with more than a .50cal round is technically in violation of the Geneva Convention...so why not throw a couple mavs at manpads? :D
Kula66 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 It "could" be a waste, but who doesnt want to break a few laws within the Geneva Convention?! Well, for me its trains and buses - with the gun! A Frog with 4 of those gun pods is good, but the GAU-8 is still king!
nscode Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Technically speaking, both eyes are supposed to be open during any type of weapon firing, unless its night fire FX. Well at least thats what I was told when in training. It's better than having them both closed, that's for sure :D Ouuugh... all the movies where poorley trained people fire shoulder launched weapons in the wrond direction.... :D Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
ARM505 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Not if you're trying to destroy equipment. A gun, MANPAD and a helmet are all considered equipment. LOL! I don't know if that one would stand up in the court martial: Convening Authority: So, were you aware it was in violation of the Geneva convention when you shot the bad guy with your 30mm cannon? A10 Pilot: Of course I'm aware of that! Duh! Thats why I wasn't going for him though, I was trying to shoot his rifle out of his hand, and his helmet off his head. About 50 of the rounds missed though, hitting him and turning him into dog food. Most regrettable, terribly sorry about that. Convening Authority:........ (Stunned silence)
hitman Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Yeah it wouldnt fly very far, but I guess the argument "He had a smoke in his mouth and I was just trying to shoot it out of his mouth and this 30mm long rifle is the only thing I had that could reach out and touch him from here and I accidentally shot him in the head" could theoretically work here. :D
