Mad-Mex Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 F-5 does not have fuel dumping capabilities
drPhibes Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Press and then just fly with afterburners on for a minute. You should be running on fumes in no time.
emko Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 +1 :-D F-5 does not need the dump nozzles, it has afterburners.

razo+r Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 How sure are that this is the F-5E-3 and not hydraulic pipes?
Yuya6104 Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 How sure are that this is the F-5E-3 and not hydraulic pipes? Becuase this ROKAF F-5E that on display has cutaway at Korea areospace museum. Hydraulic pips are beneath can see one the hydraulic slightly low where elevator pitch. Anyway keep up the good work guys your doing great job. :D
drPhibes Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 This should explain the function of the pipe shown in the picture. From the F-5E flight manual:
Mad-Mex Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Research again guys the F-5E Fuel Jettison. It is located in Main tanks and it is Jett out from tail. What you see there is a vent, when the aircraft if being refueled, the fuel pushes air out this vent, it makes a snorting noise.
Joe Kurr Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I've seen F-5s (both NF-5A and Swiss F-5E) where fuel comes out of this vent when flying inverted / under negative Gs. It would be cool if this were modelled in DCS. Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
