williehayesjr Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Can anyone help with the sequential procedures to initiate the autopilot for the SU 27?
razo+r Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 A to engage the Autopilot Also look in the game settings to see what keybindings engage which autopilot
williehayesjr Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 Yes, I understand as much Razo+r. But, do I hit the "A" first then the key combination (Alt Hold, Route Follow etc.) or the other way around?
cthulhu68 Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Choose type of AP then "A" to engage/disengage.
razo+r Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Yes, I understand as much Razo+r. But, do I hit the "A" first then the key combination (Alt Hold, Route Follow etc.) or the other way around? Choose the waypoints to follow for the Autopilot in the NAV mode (key #1) and then hit A for engage or disengage the combinations like alt+3 engages the designated Mode for the Autopilot, and same as above, 1st time pressing Engage, 2nd time disengage
williehayesjr Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 Thanks; Just one more thing. When do I use LAlt/9. Sometimes repeatedly pressing the A key gives some very unexpected out of control behavior by the aircraft.
razo+r Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 yeah, because then you turn off and turn the autopilot on again, and if you do that several times, the autopilot trys always to regain control Also the autopilot sesets the trim, that's also something that you might should know before turning off the autopilot

RichardG Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 They broke autopilot "return to level flight" mode few updates ago. It works, but it puts the plane in 250 meter/minute nose down attitude. Youll need to use barometric alt hold to keep the plane level now. It was perfectly level before.
