Ironhand Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) Recently tried getting online after a long absence with 1.5.5's most recent openbeta build. Noticed that a number of servers had a "Pure Client" shield and I couldn't join. Clicked the red shield and saw my Mig-21 and F-86 modules noted and a file for both: dcs_manifest.x86_64. Tried repair. Tried an uninstall. The shield and complaint remain. ?? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 22, 2016 ED Team Posted November 22, 2016 Hi ironhand, that is strange. Try using the module manager to remove them both and then reinstall them again in the module manager If you still have issues attach your log folder and we will take a look at it Forum rules - DCS Crashing? If you still have issues attach your log folder and we will take a look at it Already uninstalled them through the module manager before posting. Seemed odd when that didn't take care of it. I'll try reinstalling this evening after work, if I have a chance. The upcoming holiday is making free time a premium item. :) I'll be back at some point if I can't get the issue resolved. Thanks. Ironhand Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Problem solved once I reinstalled. Evidently uninstalling wasn't enough for some reason. Thanks! zaelu Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 dcs_manifest.x86_64 files can appear modified even if they are not modified directly. I observed this after trying to install some mods with modified ground objects. Example the "improved static Mi-8". With that mod installed you will fail dcs_manifest.x86_64 although that mod does not affect the file at all. I suppose that file is not only read from the HDD/SSD but also filled with things from mods and the IC makes the check at the end and... Bam! In your case Ironhand it could be something similar but not exactly what I gave as example. But your file might appear modified even if you clean install the module. fitness88 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I have a triple screen set up with an enlarged kneeboard on the left screen. Even when I do the kb customising manually without using kb builder it still gives me IC no pass. I think any changes to the kb .lua files will now cause this no pass. Interestingly I've modded other .lua files and it doesn't cause an issue.
