FalconPlot16 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 i have this problem or bug when i gun run ground then my plane rolls left or right slowly im not hit but i pass through destroyed target's smoke does smoke damaged my plane or what is this bug ?
razo+r Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Check neutral controller input and symmetrical payload I haven't checked yet, but maybe the recoil and the using of amunition might create some torque, same as the engine And no, smoke doesn't damage your plane, but it can harm your engine Maybe a track could be more useful
BadHabit Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 It is reported. It is caused by empty Gun load for some reason. FalconPlot16 Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) It is reported. It is caused by empty Gun load for some reason. i couldnt used outer guns anyway when main gun is finished we really need a patch for 1.5 immediately plz ed even i jettisoned all weapons but it still rolling Edited November 29, 2016 by FalconPlot16
Pocket Sized Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 The internal gun ammo is off center and the plane is balanced when the gun ammo is full. Without gun ammo the plane will roll slowly to the right. That in itself isn't a bug, but some are questioning if the roll should be as large as it is. DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.
FalconPlot16 Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 even without gun pods im still rolling where is rounds are storaged ? in the right wing ?
razo+r Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 maybe left part of the fuselage so it will make a roll to the right
Art-J Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 maybe left part of the fuselage so it will make a roll to the right Indeed, as seen on the drawing I posted in another thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2954620&postcount=16 However, the effect seems to be overdone to me. With a cartridge weight of about 330g, full ammo supply is 66-ish kg. If such a weight (or lack thereof) being just a little off-center caused roll, all small planes with two seats and only one pilot onboard (very skinny pilot that is) would roll the same way as our MiG ;). i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
FalconPlot16 Posted December 1, 2016 Author Posted December 1, 2016 i no longer use guns until this is fixed or adjusted i hope we get patch today
RAZBAM_ELMO Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Well I don't seem to find the roll an issue if I stay under speed. If I I crease the speed above .85M I see the drastic roll rate you are describing but under .85M with half or empty case I do not see the roll being a large issue. razo+r Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 i rolling with every speed even on landing its really damn annoying when landing it causing crash the plane If you handle it correctly, you can land without damage... It's not the plane that crashes, it's the pilot who lets the plane crash... :smilewink:
