Trident Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Hear hear! I would definitely prefer for the LOMAC sequel to be a F/A-18C vs. MiG-29K sim rather than Tank Killers and yet-another-Falcon, to be honest. I wouldn't mind if ED included the F-15C, A-10A, Su-27/33 and Su-25 aswell (initially or as add-ons), but the former two airframes seem like a match made in heaven. And the MiG-29K only barely missed entering service IIRC, so it's not that much of a stretch. But we digress :) Keep up the good work walmis!
Pilotasso Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 In reality F-16A MLU (Aim-9X/Aim-120C) is the same level as a F-16C Blk.52. Performance of the F100 (used in the Belgium F-16A/B) is today comparable with the F110-132 engine being developed by General Electric, which produces 145kN of thrust or 32000 pounds of thrust.;) hmmm not quite... specialy compared with block 52+ One has APG-66V2 and the other has APG-68. There are differences even in each MLU upgrade, some airforces added extra or custom features or further upgrading. I have been hearing some curious remarks from airforce personel over here that our MLU's have out detected other MLU's from belgium, making them very anxious to try ours. Information as to what made the difference was not released though. Press revealed PoAF MLU's have RAM but it doesnt say if its common to all airforces doing the MLU. .
Black_Hawk Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 What we really need is the MiG-29K and A-10C, this could be done within a short time-frame after LOBS is released (say a year) and would add a lot to Lock On. I agree with Thomas, we want the MiG-29K back from Flanker  And give the Fulcrum it's real turn rate and better FM, not this what we have now in LOFC. I'm pretty sure that doing a new pit and 3D model for the Devs is a piece of cake with all the stuff they use when making this Sim. :music_whistling: 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
GGTharos Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 THis is an F-15 3D model project thread, NOT a wish list for Migs. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
ViperEagle Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Sorry for kicking a hornets nest  In reality, I would be extremely happy with detailed actuator rods, some turbine spinning detail and perhaps some other smaller improvements. Of course, what I would really love is an Active Flight Model like the 25T. But, I'm not going to be ingrateful. Thank you so much for making an updated F-15 model!
Vekkinho Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I know this is F-15 thread but some of You guys mentioned A-10C and MiG-29K models...nice idea. And MiG-29K vs F/A-18 sounds interesting especially if we develop F-18E Super Hornet 3d model and replace existing F-18A.:smartass: Can't wait for F-15...Keep up the good work... Vedran. Shotsx74 Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 You think you can through a comparison together before your release to give us all the updates you did to the jet compared to the orginal, some changes I can see from your WIP shot but some I cannot.
Vekkinho Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Big thanx to walmis here (rep inbound)... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Colt40Five Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I thought old skins were supposed to work? All mine look like this... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Colt40Five Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 One I made, but like I said other skins looked the same. This skin is up at lockonfiles. It's called F-15C AF logo skin I think. Here's how it looks on the stock model: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
