The idea was to add a serie of FARPs around the map and use it as a base for all my civilian missions. Feel free to use it in your own missions, credits appreciated ;) Upuaut's Cargo+Helipads+... & VP-Airfield Equipment mods are required There are 7 unique FARPs, 4 Hospitals (3 in Vegas, 1 in Pahrump) and 5 landing pads on top of the casinos The mission file is attached to this post. But I think now you can bypass this issue by setting the helo to "take off from ground". ebabil Posted February 7, 2017 Share Posted February 7, 2017 i have noticed another interesting thing. i tried to land helipad on the hotel building with mi-8 first. i approached carefully to the pad at almost zero speed. everything seemed normal. but when i positioned over the pad, as if an air wave made me increase rapidly. i tried this a few times and result was the same then i tried it with uh-1 and i landed at first try with no problem. i don't recall this behavior from my previous rooftop landings. but i am not sure. can you guys also check? I tried above the Tromb tower and the Planet Dollywood and didn't notice anything strange. That being said, I don't fly the Mi-8 often so maybe I missed something.
