cthulhu68
Not trying to ignite a damage model or physics controversy here but the way the RB-75 pops up and falls back before propelling forward seems a bit odd. Or is it I'm going to fast?

razo+r
The flight model is as stated and marked in some videos WIP
Corrigan
Yeah, this is wrong. According to SFI (Del 3, Kap 1, Flik 7, s. 63) the missile should light its engine and burn off the rail, not be released and then light as in the OP. (Just like the are on the Warthog.) Vladinsky
It's because it's using a simple flight model right now, it'll probably get updated later.
cthulhu68
I'm thinking it's the RB-05A FM since that's supposed to pop up.
Vladinsky
I'm quite convinced it's the old AGM-65 SFM.Tacview-20170130-212751-DCS.zip.rar
razo+r
the old flight model was like ^, but we have more like the top of an O, so no edgy flight path... So it's a newer WIP flight model
Goblin
The Rb75 should launch of the rail just like any other Maverick or Sidewinder, for that matter. It may climb after launch, depending on launch parameters. Cool skin, BTW! :)
eurofor
They have confirmed that the RB75 FM is not correct because they copied the old FM from ED: Yes, we were investigating yesterday. Seems we copied this so long ago that it is using old definition. Will be fixed in next patch. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

RedeyeStorm
In 2.5 I noticed that the rb75 launches through the airframe.
Schmidtfire
Can confirm, goes through the airframe... And what happened to white color Rb75? According to the changelogs this was changed some time ago, but I still se them as green...
