He says it works, but if for some reason it doesn't, is it still worth $100 and then just buy repair pieces? What are your thoughts? Since you have no way of knowing what is broken, and the fact that you are probably not dealing with an honest person, I would not touch it. I agree with cichlidfan . That is pretty cheap - and if you do not know the guy, and have no way of examining the unit, I would probably stay away from it. To answer your question - could be a big problem. Not all parts are available from TM or easily gotten, you "could" end up with just a bad stick or worse a 100 dollar paperweight. HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled. DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!. Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

cichlidfan Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I am still leery because of the extremely low price, but if you feel you can spare the cash, in case it is completely broken beyond repair, and can arrange the sale in a way that you are comfortable, then I revise my opinion to 'give it a shot'. As others have said, even if the grip is the only useful part, it is still not a bad deal. Good luck and let us know how it works out.
