fitness88 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Is there a way to prevent my virtual head from poking through the canopy? For me I just don't...I can easily see where the canopy is above and to the sides and I choose to stay inside those parameters. As for having your view actually blocked that would take some interesting .lua file tweaking.
Knock-Knock Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Blocking, or stopping the tracking / movement, also messes with your head. iRacing do it, and its really odd every time it happens, cause you feel like you are physically moving the car. So yea, just dont :) - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
Goblin Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Is there a way to prevent my virtual head from poking through the canopy? Stop moving when you reach the canopy! ;) Seriously though, imposing limits for virtual movements can mess with your equilibrium and cause motion sickness. I don't feel I need this.
dburne Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Same here, would take a little effort to lean over and move my head outside the canopy, so I just don't either. Los Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Use Adjust cockpit camera controls to move your head to the proper position in the cockpit.
