What ? Are you comparing solution of The Riemann Hypothesis to finishing a toy ? :megalol:

Yes. Both have a solution, but we know not when or how at this point in time. The Mirage M2000C far from being a "toy" is a complex series of algorithms, much as the solution to Reimann's hypothesis will be. Where does my comparison fall down in your eyes?

Too much gaps between the things that are being compared. You have overdone a bit dude :)

I have to admit, when I bought this module I wasn't very excited about it (I buy almost everything that is released) but after all this time since early release I find it is one of the most go to planes that I fly, this and the F5 have gotten under my skin of late. If I have little time to fly these are the two I go to most and I'm really enjoying them, much more than I thought I would. How's that for a backhanded endorsement? ;) LOL

In my case, I always liked the Mirages and enjoyed a lot their displays in airshows, so was really attracted by this module. About 8 months ago, during a sale I asked in this forum about the status of the project, because I didn't want an unfinished product, and the consensus was that it was almost finished, only a few touches here and there missing.

I have patiently read manuals about the plane, made my own checklists, configured my HOTAS (as I do for every aircraft) and followed the changelog and Mirage forums since then. I have tried to get started with it a few times, but it is not up to my standards to enjoy it yet. This module is still in an incomplete alpha state and I feel quite deceived seeing how it is now advertised as a finished product and how the resources are being moved to develop the Harrier II instead of finishing it.

I trust in Razbam's ability to finish it and in their hard work. This can become a great module in DCS, but until then it just feels as wasted money for me.

I purchased in early access. I knew what I was getting. Nobody tricked me. If I didn't want to deal with the growing pains of an early access module, I wouldn't have purchased it.

I believe I paid a fair price. If I had thought the price was too high, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Again, I was not confused, bewildered, or unaware of what I was buying. It was clearly called, early access.

I would advise restraint throwing around terms like "not professional". I could not disagree with you more on this point!

I'm happy you have learned that you should wait before purchasing early access modules. I on the other hand will be buying the AV-8 the moment they make it available.

Good Day.

I agree completely.

I think too many do not understand what early access means which generates a lot of threads on the issue... :(

Developing modules for DCS is complex, it takes a lot of time effort and money to do.

developers have come and gone not even reaching the early access phase, which is testament to the teams now working hard to bring us all great aircraft, they have succeeded where others have failed.

If you do not like early access do not buy into them, it is that simple.

Frankly saying M2000-C has a problematic roadmap is insulting, as it is far from problematic.

Issues get reported and fixed by the dev team, they know their schedule and priorities and we are not privy to that, so give them time, developing is a long process.

If you have concerns PM the dev team, I am sure they will be happy to get your feedback
