ScottyBS Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I appear to have done something to the cockpit textures - I have tried a total uninstall reinstall (Of Dcs Alpha) but it is the same. I had an issue with some mods which I removed so I did a full format and reinstall but it appears not to have fixed it. Any ideas? Scott
westr Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) It's the differed shading. Some modules are more affected than others. The Gazelle cockpit is affected quite a lot. You can turn off the differed shading in the settings menu. The terrain doesn't look as nice with it off in my opinion. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 31, 2017 ED Team Posted May 31, 2017 Some modules need to be tweaked still for deferred shading. The terrain lighting will be adjusted as the alpha progresses Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ScottyBS Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 Thanks guys for the great help and support. Scott
borchi_2b Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 We are aware of that shading bugg cause the Gazelle currently does not have PBR based textures. We are working on an update already that will address the textures. http://www.polychop-sims.com
Dave317 Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Will this also include an update to the cockpit glass? It doesn't look right at all at the minute.
