Esac_mirmidon Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 I´ve tested the new settings and my Virtual Memory inside the game went from 8.8 to 12.6 at the beggining of the mission. The good thing is the perfomance is almost the same. The FPS are the same and the inevitable stutters are there some times. In Nevada the stutters are very few and short but this settings are perfectly playable for me and the terrain looks awesome. " You must think in russian.." Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Yes, thats the good thing I also mentioned, performance is the same, only the amount of RAM/VRAM/Page file is bigger...in my case I get some stutters due to that BUT, Im pretty sure the stutters will go once you use an SSD drive...so basically this is a "free" improvement in terms of performance and a REALLY BIG ONE, Im enjoying Nevada now as never before...hope ED to take this into consideration and maybe officially use it as a higher setting or something like that because, well, I just cant go back :D Take a look at my MODS here

Art-J Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Well well, looks like the "shadow line" bug might have been fixed with 2.2 update. I fired up MiG-21 free flight mission to check something different, but while panning the camera in external view I also noticed the line was not there anymore. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Mustangs LOD-mod was a great workaround. But anyway its good that it has been fixed now.
