The_Nephilim Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 No, I am on Win 10 Creators update.. Intel Ultra 265K 5.5GHZ / Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Elite / MSI 4070Ti Ventus 12GB / SoundBlaster Z SoundCard / Corsair Vengance 64GB Ram / HP Reverb G2 / Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Games / Crucial 512GB M.2 Win 11 Pro 21H2 / ButtKicker Gamer / CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh V2 PC Case
Headwarp Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Unrelated to the video drivers.. I experienced this with 2.1. Oddly enough I decided to let the program just run. It took about twenty minutes but it eventually loaded. The same thing happened with my first mission. After that it started loading at a closer to normal pace. Spoiler Win 11 Pro, z790 i9 13900k, RTX 4090 , 64GB DDR 6400GB, OS and DCS are on separate pci-e 4.0 drives Sim hardware - VKB MCG Ultimate with 200mm extension, Virpil T-50CM3 Dual throttles. Chump Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 I am on Win 7 using 384.76 also. I did experience some first-time long load times, as Headwarp mentioned, after the last update. After that first execution (compiling shaders? I dunno) it is back to normal. I do not think that it is related to your video drivers.

Decibel dB Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 Then it take way longer then previous update, I'll check it out and report back. Thanks for your answers
ac5 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 I had something similar... not related to video drivers. Each time the loading time takes more than 3 minutes, it's the stupid starforce copy protection thing. You don't see the window asking to activate, this or the other plane, BUT! if you hit ALt-Ctrl-Del or start the task manager, the window asking to activate appears then you hit yes yes, and everything is back to normal for a while, until all of the above happens again. Yet another BUG.... Decibel dB Posted July 21, 2017 Author Posted July 21, 2017 nope it still hangs on the black screen I don't know how long i have to wait but I decide that after 1 hour I had enough. Once I Ctrl+alt+del to get the task manager the blue screen menu temporarily appear for a fraction of second and that's all. On the TM under program it show that DCS is running and as not fail however
