They don't really protect anything.. and since we don't have bombers yet, the AAAs are doing a heluva job seizing our engines..

true true... especially the watchtowers which each are probably manned with 12-15 Rambolike soldiers with rapidffire k98 Karabiner and FW190Engine dedicated Aimbots ;)

 

dont get me wrong ... i learned to like them a lot - though they are huuuugely overpowerd ;)

The FW190's engine seems to break at the first hint of damage. I was 'killed' so many times this weekend after the first hit. Can't wait for the updated damage models to be done.

can u guys by any chance drop in some new ships at the harbours instead? would be cool if theres no problem with em.

We will have a look how to avoid it, probably need to change the cloud setting as you said in the chat yesterday.

 

as far as I know its a long existing condition ...

my 2cent: dont give it a too high Priority so that one has to disable clouds(if there is a setting which does not disable the clouds - go for it) or disable the labels or something.

I'd rather have buggy clouds than none at all, but please don't remove the labels.

 

Hopefully ED's new clouds might fix this issue, when they get round to it.

1. We have found an issue with the process priority and affinity on the server which was fixed.

I have no idea when it started, but I'm wondering now how it affected the AI flights we added, anyway we would like to test further and will probably add AIs in lower quantity to test.

2. We have updated the statistics, fixed a few issues with KD values showing null. (in cases someone hasn't died yet).

Clouds ON -> Labels OFF.. I can't cope with the fact that the labels can be seen through.. anything. I just can't.. they look ugly, they ARE totally unrealistic and they spoil any tactics we might have.

Im not with you on that amazing, its the same for everybody ... so, we just have to include the Labels within our tactics ;)

 

(what i find more disturbing than the labelthing is the fact that i can check where enemies take off while in flight... THIS is really unrealistic ... its even better than Radar.... you know exactly from which direction they are coming.

but as i said earlier - its the same for everybody and one has to adjust to this given facts ... if i dont use it .. well ... my fault ... same is for the enemies)

Jo xcom, i was on bf yesterday with "unstable client", he told me that he had done several bomber runs with the tf51 and nothing hapened.

I witnessed it myself when i came in at lignerolle... I sa the tupolev came in at 4k.... Saw the message "targets in sight blabla bombs dropped blabla" but nothing happened.

 

Question: how long is the time of flight of the bombs (its a script, i know)

 

Reason: i think 2 flak units blew up which i didnt kill... Though it was "some time" after the bombermessage showed up

saomething is seriously broken ... bombed sth and the bomb dint explode ... there was no flak , and i attacked aflakgun which did not explode ... decided to fly home and after 3min when i touched down, there was the attackmessage ... and then i got the kill for the flak gun

one flak of the north westerly flak batterie at isigny is maybe hidden in the tree lines? i just straffed the hedges there and after some time i got the message its closed. or maybe it was very much delayed as schnarre stated cause i couldnt see any fire in the tree lines.

RFJack, I reduced the clouds significantly, can you check if there's an improvement?

 

Thank you all for an excellent session tonight, we had around 20 people on the server and I believe it was solid and stable.

Apart from that, we have been working through the simple radio which was awesome!

 

Also -

- Added winds at different altitudes.

- Included Tacview ACMI files to be available via FTP for each server 3 hours, credentials:
