yogipol Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Hello, I am a happy oculus cv1 user but recently I noticed that while playing my point of view is changing. The change affects the point of view. It moves itself up and down. Has anyone had such a case? I've already tried changing HDMI ports, drivers but unfortunately without success. dburne Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 That is odd. Only happening in DCS or have you tried other games in the Rift and see it happening there as well? Does it happen in Oculus Home? My first thought would be to try redoing sensor setup again to make sure you have optimum placing of your sensors for your play area. Are you running the sensors through USB 3 ports? I can't say that I have ever seen that myself. hansangb Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Agreed. Probably should run the sensor setup process again. The eye-point does change at the beginning of the sim, but not during. And from completeness sake, eye point can be changed: Pasted from <http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2790437#post2790437> hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
VampireNZ Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 (edited) Also had that - is usually a sign that the sensors are having trouble. If you check your Devices tab in the Oculus Home app on your PC screen you might find one of them is disconnected. A quick fix for when the view starts drifting a little is to hit the Restart Oculus option, on the Beta or General tab in the Oculus Home app - usually sorts out any sensor issues pretty quickly. Otherwise yeah do a complete sensor setup process again. I had a 'dirfting' view in DCS just a few days ago actually, checked and yep a sensor had the red exclamation mark - so Restart Oculus and all back to normal. Precog Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Yeah, I get my view randomly moving down slightly. I only get this in DCS I'm pretty sure. Recenter fixed this though. Check out my 'real world' video series [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
