Is there an official list of weapons that will come with the -18C? I'm keenly interested in the SEAD and anti-ship capabilities (firing the Harpoon). Anyideas?

one mav per station or two GBU-38 per station.

So you should be able to carry 2 Mavs + 4 GBU-38

Thank You. It's not to bad moving from A-10C; of course I wish to have 4x4:cry: (4M+4GBU).

Blame the Soviets. I'm sure if they had acquired ocean going T-80s, the Navy would have invested in AGM-65Ds. As it is you get the big anti bunker/anti ship ones.

As it is, the F/A-18 goes fast enough your GBU's will have longer range than you're used too, and you'll be able to artificially extend that further in ways you couldn't in the A-10 (Lofts, Tosses, etc.).

You suggest that Maverick D with doubled the firing distance and Maverick F for tracking ships will be part of load-out? If that's true I think I'm in :prop:

This is what AGM-84 is for :D

AGM-65 is an anti-armour weapon system, it's not intended (primarily) for anti-ship missions.

That said, the premise of your question isn't in touch with the real world, think more aircraft per mission, not more weapons per aircraft.

supporting A10C in air to ground mission was in my mind so asking for max load is real "in question" to me. Also switching from A10 I got used to AGM 65 as tanks etc. Im all about
