Beamscanner Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 What do you plan on using for your slew control? Do people actually use that nipple on the Warthog throttle? Because I have to use the TMS switch on the stick for my slew control, and the hornet stick doesn't have that. (I use the comm switch on the throttle as my TMS)
mrwell Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Well, TMS is not slew control. I'll continue using slew control in WH throttle. Why don't you use it? It works good... unless your one broke. Cheers
cichlidfan Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 (edited) If you try to use the slew without significant curves, to reduce the sensitivity, then it does suck. However, with proper curves it works quite well. Look at the default curves for the A-10C. Beamscanner Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 The TMS switch has worked very well as a slew control for me. Copy, thanks I'll take a look at those settings What is everyone using for antenna control? I use the trim hat. (I trim using the trim hat as well with the paddle as a modifier)

(I trim using the trim hat as well with the paddle as a modifier) Coolie Hat on the throttle, the one at my left index finger, front of the throttle. Dont know if I will get the Hornet stick though. (I trim using the trim hat as well with the paddle as a modifier) Buy a large rotator off Shapeways by Debolestis, drill a hole in the proper position on the left throttle arm, install a pot, and wire it into the line to replace the Friction rotator axis.
