Alpenwolf Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 How can I have a Viggen spawn somewheres on a road? No option that says "ground start" or something. Only "parking" or "parking hot" or "landing" etc. HACA DYCA Discord Cold War 1947 - 1991 You can help me with keeping up the server via PayPal donations: hokumyounis@yahoo.com
El Bastardo Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 DCS\MissionEditor\modules\me_route.lua Should look like this: plane_one_point = { actions.turningPoint, actions.flyOverPoint, actions.takeoffRunway, actions.takeoffParking, actions.takeoffParkingHot, actions.landing, actions.takeoffGround, --added as a mod actions.takeoffGroundHot, --added as a mod }, plane_first_point = { actions.turningPoint, actions.flyOverPoint, actions.takeoffRunway, actions.takeoffParking, actions.takeoffParkingHot, actions.takeoffGround, --added as a mod actions.takeoffGroundHot, --added as a mod source: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178670 p.s.: AI might have trouble with this, not sure.

Hmmm, didn't work for me. My game stops loading at 10% and never gets to the main menu. Rescripted the file to bring it back the was it was and the game was still bugged. Only after reapairing DCS is back to normal! EDIT: Got it working now! I simply downloaded the JSGME .rar file posted by AG-51 Razor: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178670 Edited August 28, 2017 by Alpenwolf HACA DYCA Discord Cold War 1947 - 1991 You can help me with keeping up the server via PayPal donations: hokumyounis@yahoo.com
Alpenwolf Posted August 28, 2017 Author Posted August 28, 2017 Ok, that's done. Added FARP ammo and fuel without a FARP and of course can't rearm/refuel. The ammunition warehouse didn't work either. Any ideas? HACA DYCA Discord Cold War 1947 - 1991 You can help me with keeping up the server via PayPal donations: hokumyounis@yahoo.com
firmek Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Check this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=185826 The issue is that it's seems to be reported not working in MP. Don't know what is the status as for the moment. F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all

Pikey Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 It doesn't work as a connected MP client, only as a connected MP host. You can reverse into a farp, as long as you are touching the collision model, you can rearm and refuel as per a chopper. Yes, that's a terrible, but the only, solution so far. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

Alpenwolf Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 For rearm/refuel make use of a mobile ground crew: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=185826 I did and it didn't work! Maybe becuase I tested that with the MiG-21? I don't have the Viggen so I had to test it with another plane. With the mobile ground crew comes a set of some marks/points on the point. Don't think that applies to the MiG-21. Gotta have someone test for me, I guess... Rudel_chw Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I did and it didn't work! Maybe becuase I tested that with the MiG-21? Oh ... of course, its a Viggen only feature :) ... I sugested it because the Viggen was mentioned on the thread title For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I suppose it'll work for the Viggens in my missions then  Just enlighten me on these 2 points if you could please. I'd probably understand that if I had the Viggen? The points in the mission editor with a number on them. HACA DYCA Discord Cold War 1947 - 1991 You can help me with keeping up the server via PayPal donations: hokumyounis@yahoo.com

Alpenwolf Posted September 9, 2017 Author Posted September 9, 2017 Would love to help, but cant really understand what you mean :( which points? Yeah, should've been more accurate. RagnarDa mentioned in his post regarding the Mobile Ground Crew this "... There are two reference-points added in this mission (9201 and 9202)...". Do I have to have the same in my mission to enable rearming and refueling or do I only need the ground crew of 3 vehicles as described by him? Do I have to have the same in my mission to enable rearming and refueling or do I only need the ground crew of 3 vehicles as described by him? OK, now I get what you mean. Those reference points are for the sample mission only and serve to instruct the ground crew to move somwhere else after replenishing your plane. On the Viggen, the reference points is simply a way to input coordinates into the navigation computer faster if they are known beforehand. You could just the same input a LOngitude-LAtitude, but those are 12 keystrokes to input ... while the use of reference points only need 4 keystrokes. For a simpler mission just leave the Ground Crew where they are, and set a second ground crew on the other location, rather than have the first one to move. Best regards.
