From my point of view would be better to have an auto file pruning option that permit to select how much days the tracks should be remains in folder.

disable_white_track = true

Anyone knew this command in the autoexec.cfg ?

Should that be wRite instead of wHite ?

Hi.
Im digging up a old post.

I was looking thought my files and noticed that i had 36 GB of MP track files.
These are files that are totaly useles for me, i will never watch any of them.

C:\Users\USER\Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer
All this folder does it eat up space. decrease write counts on cells for the ssd and what not.
I have not seen any options in setting menus to disable this.

Has there been any changes to this? as in. is it possible to disable mp tracks with some sort of argument added to

dcs.exe -DisableMpTrack  or something?

In: C:\Users\USER\Saved Games\DCS\Config i tried adding the file autoexec.cfg with the line disable_write_track = true
as one of the prev post talked about on page-1, but that didnt do anything.

Is it just not possible to disable mp tracks?
or  it is just possible by hacking some of the lua files, no other options?

Thanks.

Ok. I thought it would prevent files from beeing generated at all.
But this still generates a track file. but its empty.
So now i get to delete a bunch of small files instead of big ones 😛
Oh well, atleast it doesnt eat up as much space as it used to.
