Mission selection from the menu "MISSION" - PROBLEM, all DCS WORLD versions.

There is a problem with the choice of mission. Menu "MISSION - MY MISSIONS (or another module)" - I can not select missions stored in another drive than "C". I can not move between folders to find missions in MISION EDITOR. This issue applies to all versions of DCS WORLD 1.5.7, 1.5.7 Beta, 2.1.1 ...!

There is no such problem in the MULTIPLAYER menu.

I will describe it more accurately:

 

By selecting "MISSION" - "A-10C" (or another module) ", I can not access the" Training "," Single "," Quick Start "folders.

 

 

By selecting "MY MISSION" - "My Missions", I can not access folders on other disks (partitions) than "C".

I believe this was changed some time ago and it was on purpose. You can always make a folder where you store your missions and make a link to it in the "Saved Games" folder so you can access them

Apparently ED wanted to restructure mission access. Unfortunately this was not communicated. I managed to get access to my missions back. I created a mission folder srtructure under Saved games as you can see in the attachment, and copied all missions I want to use (except the stock "Single" ones) to these folders.

This structure is visible when you click on "My Missions".

I'm afraid they do not quite know what they are doing.

I believe the idea is that, if you want the training missions, you enter them via the TRAINING tab, Quick Start via the QUICK START tab, etc. Don't know the precise reason for the change and change is always disruptive at first.

In this case it looks like: unknowingly blocking access, not intentional action. But such ED errors are unfortunately the norm. One thing will change, the other will unconsciously destroy.
