ScopeDope Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Can we please have an option for mission designers to disable the ability of players on MP servers from seeing WHERE other players are spawning? My thought is this: Enter a MP server, choose coalition Red/Blue, then see available spawn points for that coalition. If you want to change sides you have to reconnect to the server or somehow otherwise be forced out of your aircraft, etc. Getting intel on where people are might be fine for some softcore servers but should be able to be hidden. 2
Jarlerus Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 +1 An overhaul of the entire server-system to get more options to mission makers in general is needed. This would be one good feature for an overhaul of that kind. Jarl at YouTube DCS Service Span and Wishlist Spreadsheet Forum post for discussion of above spreadsheet Retro Electro Playlist on Spotify
Dutch Baron Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 +1 Great idea, that should prevent this type of 'cheating'. http://www.TAWDCS.org ### JOINT TASK FORCE JTF-88 ### https://tawdcs.org/battalion/88th/ ### PC: i9 - 32Gb RAM - GTX 1080Ti - TM Warthog Stick and Throttle - MFG Crosswind Black - TrackIR5 - Buddy Fox UFC

Drexx Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I completely agree with this, at least let me hide slots that have people in them from the selection screen (should be easy code wise IMO) Developer of DDCS MP Engine, dynamicdcs.com https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=208608

ApoNOOB Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 +1 This is a big MP cheat that can be used in all the more advanced (and bigger) campaigns that use vast areas of the map. Where hiding your presence until the time is right and using diversions are important to mission success.
