BUG: Su-33 AP ROUTE MODE Trim Bug

Don't know if this bug has been acknowledged or not. Reporting it as a bug just in case. Rrohde first made note of it here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=194721.

While the AP Route Mode is engaged (either "A" or "LAlt+6"), the aircraft remains trimmed in the direction of the last WP turn. In the track, the turn was to the left. The aircraft remains trimmed to the left as indicated by both the "Controls Indicator" and the trim lights. The aircraft, however, is wings level. Had the turn been to the right, the mis-trim would have been to the right. Canceling the AP (LAlt+9) causes the aircraft to roll in the direction of the last turn.

 

Also noted is that, other than the mis-trim, no other trim or stick movement is displayed on the controls indicator. For that matter, the control stick animation is not displaying the full trim motion either. EDIT: Noticed after posting, this last bit about the stick animation and the controls indicator seems to apply to air starts. If you start from the ground, these seem to behave normally. The trim bug, however, remains regardless of whether you start from the ground or from the air.

I think I've seen it in the -27 as well but couldn't reproduce it. The Su-33's issue seems to be consistent, happening in the same manner each time across missions.

That could be something having to do with a older mission being played with the current iteration of the sim...not necessarily an Su-27 issue alone. It would definitely be an Su-27 issue, if we could get it to do it on fresh missions--especially if it could be demonstrated consistently.

In the Flankers I always pressed trim reset after AP since LOMAC.

Use LAlt-3, the T-Toad's get-out-of-jail-free card.

my work around is using level AP mode and then turning AP off seems to work okay
